How NewsIQ reports, reviews, and revises the news.

Last updated: 2026-09-04

NewsIQ is committed to accurate, sourced, multilingual news. This page explains our editorial standards and process.

Sourcing

Every published story names its source, with a reliability score. We publish in 15 languages and we never strip a story of its original attribution.

Review workflow

Stories move through four states: draft, pending review, approved, published. Ingestion pipelines only ever create pending-review posts. A human editor must explicitly approve a story before publication.

AI in the newsroom

We use AI to summarize, classify, and analyze market impact. We do not use AI to fabricate or invent facts. AI-generated analysis is clearly labelled and is reviewed by an editor before publication.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it visibly. The original story stays in the database for auditability; the public view reflects the correction.

Reporting concerns

Readers can report a story for review. Reports are reviewed by editors and acted on within 72 hours.
